Our Lead Pastor.
Mickey graves is the founding and lead pastor of Cross Pointe. With a focus on teaching, leadership development, and vision, Mickey has played a crucial role in shaping the direction and growth of the organization. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work.
He is happily married to Vicki, and they have three wonderful young adult children: Amanda (Richie), Mick, and Katie. Mickey is also a proud grandfather to his two granddaughters, Ava and River. His commitment to both his family and his calling is evident in everything he does.

OUR sTORY
"We asked, how do we become a church that knows Jesus intimately and serves Jesus by making Jesus known to others?"
Cross Pointe Ocala began with a step of faith in the home of Mickey and Vicki graves along with a circle of 4 other couples. The goal of the original group was to form a biblical, Jesus-centered community. The families who began the journey wanted to experience Jesus Christ with each other and then wanted to share Jesus with the rest of the world, beginning in Ocala, Florida. In the beginning stages we asked, how do we become a church that knows Jesus intimately and serves Jesus by making Jesus known to others?
The journey, which began in the Graves’ home eventually led to renting space at Central Florida Community College, hosting summer day camps to some of the most needy Marion County residents, baptizing in a small pool after church services, and seeing people connect to God, to others, and to the world, has validated that vision – that dream given by God to 10 people. Our story is always evolving and growing and is nowhere near its completion. We invite you to be part of the story, a story that is committed to reaching our community and our world for Jesus Christ.
